Rome - the terms are already open for the delivery of audiovisual works in competition at the IV International Audiovisual Festival of Biodiversity.
Promoted by the International Crossroads, as part of the initiatives promoted by the Italian Committee for Food Sovereignty, the fourth edition of the festival will be held at the Global Village in collaboration with the Association of Italian NGOs, FAO, Rome Libraries, the Cinestar neighborhood committee and the community of migrants living in the Municipality X.
The festival is part of the activities of the CIC in preparation for the World Food Day (October 16).
In the program, the projection dozens of videos documenting the value of biodiversity and the experiences of those who are committed to protecting it. "This year - the organizers explain - we want above all an opportunity to give visibility to the experiences in different parts of the world, NGOs and their partners are carrying out to protect the environment and, in particular, biodiversity. First, to create a moment of information and involvement of citizens (and not just Roman) on issues that difficult to receive adequate attention, and secondly, to meet and compare experiences and realities, according to different routes, working for a supportive, finally, to present to the attention of the public institutions and the experiences that we all are helping to build, but rarely manage to make themselves visible. "
